Report: Sixers Trade Spencer Hawes To Cleveland

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Spencer Hawes is headed to Cleveland.

The Sixers have traded Hawes to the Cavs, according to a report from Ken Berger of CBS Sports.

The center's final game for the Sixers was against the Cavs, where he shot 1-6 for two points, along with six rebounds in 29 minutes. He is average 13 points and 8.5 rebounds per game this season.

Hawes, the team's leading three point shooter this season, was obtained from the Kings in a trade prior to the 2010-11 season, in exchange for Samuel Dalembert. The Kings selected Hawes 10th overall in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Hawes will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.

The Sixers will receive two second round picks, along with Earl Clark and Henry Sims in exchange for Hawes. Both Clark and Sims' contracts are not guaranteed for the 2015 season.
