Report: Sixers Interested In PG Norris Cole

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia 76ers are expressing interest in New Orleans Pelicans restricted free-agent point guard Norris Cole, according to a report from Michael Scotto of SheridanHoops.com.

Cole, 26, was traded from the Miami Heat to the Pelicans before last season's deadline. For his career, Cole has averaged just 6.6 points and 2.6 assists per game, shooting just over 32-percent from three-point range and 41-percent from the field.

Fun fact: Cole is the cousin of former Philadelphia Eagles, now Indianapolis Colts, defensive lineman Trent Cole.
