Sixers Sign Elton Brand

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia 76ers have signed veteran forward Elton Brand, the team announced on Monday.

Brand, 36, was with the Sixers for four seasons from 2008-2012.

In a blog post for The Cauldron, Brand wrote that Sixers GM Sam Hinkie talked to him about "communicating with them like men, starting to grow together, and — hopefully, eventually — winning some ballgames."
