Report: Sixers To Acquire Jared Cunningham From Clippers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- According to 94WIP's Howard Eskin, the Philadelphia Sixers will acquire Jared Cunningham from the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers had until 5:00pm Wednesday to waive Cunningham before his minimum $915,243 salary would have become guaranteed for the balance of the season.

Cunningham, 23, was the 24th overall pick in 2012 of the Cleveland Cavaliers out of Oregon State. He has played in 40 career NBA games for four different teams, averaging 1.9 points per game.

The Sixers are unlikely to keep Cunningham, according to Adrian Wojnarowski, who first reported the deal. Wojnarowski also reported the Sixers will receive cash for Cunningham.
