Report: Phillies Could Deal Cliff Lee As Early As Spring Training

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- According to a report from ESPN's Jayson Stark, Cliff Lee could be the next Phillie to see his way out of town. The team has made it clear that it is ready to begin the rebuilding process, but beyond Jimmy Rollins, there have not been a lot of cornerstone players to be dealt.

Stark is reporting the Lee could be traded as early as spring training as long as he proves to be healthy.

Lee was plagued with injury issues in 2014 and missed the final months of the season with an elbow injury. He is expected to be ready to go when the Phillies open spring training with pitchers and catchers workouts on February 19th.

2015 will be Lee's 14th major league season.
