PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It appears many people used Thanksgiving to shop online.

Sales tracker 'Abode' estimates more than one billion dollars was spent online yesterday.

That is up 22 percent from last year.

Sales at Amazon are reportedly up 30 percent from a year ago.

It appears many people used their mobile devices to get shopping early.
