Report: Malik Rose Leaving Sixers' Broadcast Booth
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Malik Rose, who previously turned down an assistant coaching position at Alabama, is reportedly leaving the Philadelphia 76ers' broadcast booth after all.
Rose, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports, was hired by the Atlanta Hawks to be their manager of basketball operations. According the report, Rose will do "a little bit of everything" for the Hawks.

After retiring from NBA in 2009, Rose has found success working as the Sixers' TV analyst alongside long-time play-by-play announcer Marc Zumoff on Comcast SportsNet. Rose, a former Overbrook high school and Drexel University stand out, had become a fan favorite in Philadelphia.
