Report: Kiko Alonso Will Play Again This Season
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After Chip Kelly updated the status of Kiko Alonso on Wednesday morning telling reporters that the linebacker is not an "injury reserve candidate type," the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Alonso will indeed play again this season.
#Eagles LB Kiko Alonso is down in FL with Dr James Andrews, who provided the final word & cleared up the picture. Not as bad as once thought

Alonso, who injured his left knee in the Eagles' Week 2 loss against the Cowboys, did not tear his ACL according to the report. Rapoport also noted that the injury is "not as bad as once thought" and Alonso will miss about another month rehabbing.
This is incredibly good news for the Eagles, as Alonso missed his entire 2014 season with the Bills after tearing the ACL in that same left knee.
