Report: Eagles Shopping For Corners

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Howie Roseman and the Eagles continue to be active in the trade and free agency markets, as we saw with the recent acquisitions of Dorial Green-Beckham and Stephen Tulloch.

It's something Roseman admitted he will have to do with their scarcity of draft picks, thanks to the Carson Wentz trade. CBSSports' Jason La Canfora reports the Eagles will continue to be active, specifically in search of help at the cornerback position.

"The Eagles aren't done wheeling and dealing," La Canfora writes. "Not by a long shot. Having spent a load to keep their own players and very short on draft picks after the trade for Wentz, aggressive general manager Howie Roseman will continue trying to upgrade via trade."

La Canfora reports the Eagles have been "sniffing around on corners" and he believes the Eagles could make about two more trades before the start of the regular season.

"They will be very active during the roster cutdown period, trust me."

The Eagles must finalize their 53-man roster by Saturday, September 3rd at 4 p.m.
