The Eagles signed Murray to a five-year deal worth $40 million, $18 million guaranteed, last offseason. Murray has an $8 million 2016 cap hit. If released, he will cost the Eagles $13 million in dead money.
Murray, 28, struggled last season -- his first with the Eagles -- running for just 702 yards and six touchdowns on 193 carries.
