Report: Cowboys Considering Nick Foles

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Nick Foles to the Cowboys?

Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday that Dallas Cowboys backup quarterback Kellen Moore will have surgery on his broken ankle and miss three to four months.

With the injury-prone 36-year-old Tony Romo as their starting QB, the Cowboys need to add a backup, and Ed Werder is reporting the Cowboys are considering the former Eagles QB.

Foles, a third-round pick of the Eagles in 2012, was released by the Rams six days ago. The Eagles traded Foles to the Rams after the 2014 season, but Foles was benched after a 4-5 start in St. Louis.

Last year, after Romo broke his collarbone in Week 2 against the Eagles, the Cowboys went 1-11 in games Romo did not start.

The interesting question is, would Eagles fans be for or against Foles signing with the Cowboys?
