Report: Broncos Trying To Trade Mark Sanchez

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Denver Broncos are trying to get rid out quarterback Mark Sanchez, according to Pro Football Talk.

Sanchez, 29, was traded to the Broncos this offseason after spending the past two seasons with the Eagles.

If Sanchez does not make the Broncos' roster, the Eagles will not receive the conditional pick they hoped they would be trading Sanchez. If he does make the roster, which is looking less likely every day, the Eagles will receive a seventh-round pick. Even less likely, is if Sanchez makes the roster and starts at least four games, the Eagles will receive a sixth-round pick.

On Monday, the Broncos announced that Trevor Siemian would be their starting QB.

Sanchez is in the second year of a two-year deal worth $9 million ($5.5 million guaranteed) he signed before the 2015 season. Former Eagles coach Chip Kelly is having quarterback problems of his own in San Francisco. Just saying.
