Report: Allen Barbre Expected To Have Season Ending Surgery
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Contrary to a report on Monday that said Eagles offensive lineman Allen Barbre will miss several weeks with an ankle injury, a new report Tuesday from Adam Caplan indicates Barbre will have season ending surgery.
Caplan is also reporting that veteran offensive lineman Eric Winston (right-tackle) and Wade Smith (guard) will visit with the Eagles on Tuesday.
Barbre, who had been starting at right tackle for the Eagles in place of the suspended Lane Johnson, injured his ankle Sunday in the Eagles' 34-17 win over the Jaguars. Veteran offensive tackle Andrew Gardner is expected to replace Barbre.
