Regulators Pave Way For NJ Casinos To Imitate Games Millennials Like

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., (CBS) -- If you're good at playing games on your phone the next generation of casino games may be geared toward you.
Tuesday the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement announced temporary regulations that will allow gaming manufactures to develop skill-based games.
Casino experts say the games could involve problem solving and hand-eye coordination skills along the lines of popular games like Candy Crush or Angry Birds.
"The casino industry is concerned about the next generation of gamblers so they started looking into what do Millennials like? They like competition, they like a social atmosphere, they like being on their phones," says Frank Legato, editor of Global Gaming Business Magazine.
Legato says skill-based games are still being developed because casinos have to make sure they don't take big losses to people with expert skills.
