Registration Deadline For May 19th Pa. Primary, Including Phila. Mayoral and Council Races

By Mike Dunn

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Today is the final day you can register to vote, or change your party affiliation, for next month's all-important Pennsylvania primary.

If you haven't registered or if you want to switch parties, you can find the registration form at philadelphiavotes.com.   Or, you can get the form at the city's elections offices -- Room 142 of City Hall, or at Delaware Avenue and Spring Garden Street.

You can drop the registration form at City Hall Room 142 until 5pm, or at 520 North Delaware Avenue until 12 midnight.  If you mail it in, make sure it carries today's postmark or it'll be rejected.

To complete the form you'll need to provide your name, address, date of birth, and either the last four digits of your Social Security number or your entire driver's license number.

The May 19th ballot in Philadelphia will feature not only the city's mayoral primaries but also the primaries for all seventeen seats on City Council.

So, make sure you're registered if you want to have a say in your party's nominee!
