Report: Red Sox Interested In Phillies Pitcher Jeremy Hellickson

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillies might not be done adding young talent.

With the July 31st MLB trade deadline, one of their veterans drawing interested is 29-year-old pitcher Jeremy Hellickson. According to a report, the Boston Red Sox are interested in the right-hander.

Hellickson is 6-6 with a 3.92 ERA in 18 starts this season, his first with Philadelphia. The Phillies, 40-47, have won eight of their last 10 games.

The Red Sox are 46-38, just three games behind the AL East first-placed Baltimore Orioles, but their starting rotation is struggling. The Red Sox rotation ranks 22nd in baseball with a combined 4.82 ERA.
