All three victims were in the SUV.

Friends of the teenagers involved in the crash are left numb.

"I was in disbelief at first, didn't know if it was real or not, and then I saw the article on the accident and called my friend and he was in tears, and that's when I realized it was real," said David Welsh. "I was in disbelief and shock."

Condolences have gone out over social media.

CBS3 is withholding the name of the deceased teenager pending official notification from Uwchlan Township Police. A full 24 hours later, the police department's chief declined to take questions about the crash.

For David, the events of Tuesday have made him refocus what's important in his own life.

"It's crazy," said David. "Everybody needs to be safe on the road and realize that any second could be your last."

Police and the Chester County District Attorney's Office are investigating the crash.

There were no students on the school bus at the time of the accident and the school bus driver was not injured.
