Reading police officer shoots man outside of Wawa, Berks County District Attorney's Office say

READING, Pa. (CBS) -- Reading police shot someone outside of a Wawa on Wednesday. Chopper 3 was over Lancaster Avenue just before 5 p.m. 

Investigators say a Reading Police officer shot Emanuel Padilla Tirado several times after they say Tirado hit the officer with his car.

Tirado was wanted in connection with another shooting last week.

He is in stable condition.

The officer was not seriously hurt.
