Raise A Glass: 2 Local Craft Breweries Make List Of Nation's Best
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Craft beer has exploded over the past few years, and here in the Philadelphia area, we have some of the nation's best craft breweries.
Need proof? The Brewers Association has just released its annual list of the country's top 50 craft breweries, and two local beer producers have made the cut.
Delaware's Dogfish Head, which made headlines recently for its meteorite-infused brew, ranked 13th for the second year in a row.
Victory Brewing, located in Downingtown and beloved for its Summer Love Ale, also made the list, coming in 28th – down two spots from last year.
The two Philly area breweries were the only ones to make the Brewers Association's roundup. Boston Beer Co. took top honors, while Sierra Nevada Brewing Company came in second.
