Rainy Thursday, Father's Day

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Thursday is off to a wet start. Showers along a warm front have been moving through the region all morning, although much of the heaviest precipitation has tapered off.

Light but steady showers will still be around for the remainder of the morning, with the rest of the day mainly cloudy and cooler. Highs will top out only in the upper 70s today.

Conditions will clear by midday on Friday, with some morning clouds and perhaps a lingering shower. It will also be warmer, with highs in the mid 80s.

Saturday will start off nice, but clouds will build towards the evening. There may even be an isolated thunderstorm.

Father's Day is unfortunately looking rather soggy, as what is left of Tropical Depression Bill moves through the Delaware Valley. Heavy downpours are possible during the day, with some thunderstorms as well. It will also be warm and humidity, certainly making it feel tropical.
