Much-needed rain hits Philadelphia region Wednesday. Here's the weather forecast.
After a terrific Tuesday, we are in store for a bit of a wet Wednesday in the Philadelphia region, but it's not going to pour all day. Have the umbrella handy, as shower chances are likely at any time, though!
A batch of widespread showers will move in between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. and continue into the early afternoon.
Then we could possibly see a spotty shower or storm later this evening. We may see a few breaks of late-day sunshine, which will help the high get into the low 70s.
NEXT big weather changes
We could see another round of showers Wednesday night into Thursday, and then clouds break for sun.
Thursday is even cooler, though trending a bit drier as the best chance for showers will be in the early morning and especially off to the south. The high of only 64 runs well below average.
Sunshine returns Friday and we are closer to normal with a high near 70 before a few more showers arrive for the first part of Saturday.
Mother's Day is looking dry and warm with highs in the upper 70s.
