Pulse Of Philly Podcast: Eagles Fans Panicking For No Reason

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Chip Kelly is getting crushed. He's 19-11 (.633) in 30 NFL games after acquiring a 4-12 team, but the critics don't care. The naysayers see the Eagles' 2014 season as a regression---a 10-6 team that made the playoffs in 2013, to a potential 11-5 team that misses the playoffs in 2014.

"Let's say they don't make the playoffs," Andrew Porter said Tuesday on his Pulse Of Philly podcast show. "They win out, they finish 11-5, and don't make the playoffs. To say that this season is a failure, is not a success---if it's not a successful season to you, is ludicrous. It's insane. To say they took a step back, to me, it's just---it doesn't make much sense."

"They can't control the records," Porter continued. "They can't control the standings."
