PSPCA Offers Yoga With Cats

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- What's more relaxed than a cat? How about a session of yoga?

Better yet...how about both?

The Pennsylvania SPCA will be hosting Yoga with Cats. The event is set to take place on Sunday, October 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the PSPCA's Fishtown Center.

As attendees practice their downward dog, cats will be freely roaming the room. All of the cats in attendance will be available for adoption.

The PSPCA said they were approached by Rachel Shaw, a volunteer and an animal advocate, about connecting yoga and adoptable cats.

The class will be led by well-known local yoga instructor Meredith Magoon. The class will cost $15 and all proceeds will benefit the PSPCA.

All-level yoga enthusiasts are invited to take in the event. Click here for more information if you might be interested in a relaxing pursuit of a new furry friend.
