PSPCA Adoption Event Seeks 'Purrfect' Homes For 30 Kittens

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's called "Whisker Wonderland." A pet adoption event placing kittens in good homes.

Thirty kittens were up for adoption Wednesday at the PSPCA Fishtown Center along the 1500 block of Frankford Avenue.

Jana Surak of Fishtown filled out an application, was approved quickly and walked out with Roarie, a cute as a button kitten.

"She is a female. I wanted a female," Surak said. "I love the markings and look at this (face)!"

The kittens are between two and six months.

"All of these pets here are spayed and neutered and ready to go," said Kelsey Maccombs, a spokeswomen for the Pennsylvania SPCA.

All regular adoption fees and processes will apply.
