PSPCA: 2 Pit Bulls Found Dead In Vehicle In Frankford

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two pit bulls were found dead inside a vehicle in Philadelphia Friday, Pennsylvania SPCA officials said.

The disturbing discovery was made in the 4800 block of Duffield Street in the city's Frankford section.

According to PSPCA officials, two pit bull terriers were discovered deceased inside a car at an auto body shop.

It was not immediately known how long the dogs were in the car, how they died or how they ended up in the car in the first place.

The dogs have been brought to the PSPCA for examination by forensic veterinarians.

Humane Law Enforcement officers are investigating the incident and they are seeking tips from the public.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person/s responsible.
