PSE&G To Pump $55M Into Utility Upgrades In Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Public Service Electric and Gas is planning to spend $55 million in accelerated utility upgrades in Camden.

Executives and city leaders will detail plans on Monday.

PSE&G says the upgrades will support an influx of new businesses.

The infrastructure improvements are part of PSE&G's plan to provide electric and gas service for an initial group of 30 new companies and organizations that include a major auto manufacturer, a diversified energy technology company, a professional sports franchise and others.
