Protesters Hit Streets In Philadelphia Over North Dakota Pipeline

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Protesters took to the streets in Center City Philadelphia today, in opposition to an issue taking places miles and miles away.

They expressed their displeasure with the construction of a pipeline in North Dakota.

The protesters gathered at 17th and Market. They were a part of the group Jewish Voice for Peace and made it known that they were against the Dakota Access Pipeline. which is currently under construction.

Those gathered said that it would negatively impact the water source of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe.
