Prosecutors: Two Killed In Separate Camden Shootings

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say two men have been killed in separate shootings in Camden, less than 48 hours after two other men were also gunned down in unrelated shootings.

Camden County police say they received a report of a gunshot victim on Monday night.

When officers arrived on the scene they say they found 37-year-old Nelson Jackson shot multiple times. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

About two hours later, police say they responded to another shooting and found 21-year-old Daniel Damon fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both men lived in Camden.

Police do not believe the shootings are related.

Early Sunday morning, police say two other men were also killed in separate shootings about two hours apart.

Police continue to investigate.
