Prosecutors: Missing Elderly Woman Found Unharmed In Gloucester Township

LINDENWOLD, N.J. (AP) — An elderly woman who went missing from her southern New Jersey apartment complex last month has been found unharmed.

Camden County prosecutors say 79-year-old Marrianne Bateman of Lindenwold called authorities on Saturday after she saw a newspaper article about her reported disappearance.

Prosecutors say Bateman was in nearby Gloucester Township, but they did not provide further details on why she was there or if she had been there the whole time she was missing.

Bateman lives at Lindenwold Towers and had been last seen in that area on October 22.
