Princeton University Announces Death Of Student

PRINCETON, N.J., (CBS) – Princeton University has announced the death of a student.

Audrey Dantzlerward, 22, was found dead in her campus residence Monday, according university officials.

In a statement on the University's website, officials say the cause of death is yet to be determined, but no foul play is suspected.

Dantzlerward was a member of the Wildcats a cappella group, Princeton Women's Mentorship Program, Princeton Presbyterians, and Edwards Collective, a residential community that celebrates the humanities and creative arts.

A gathering to remember Dantzlerward is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday in Murray Dodge Hall.

The University says students who would like to speak with counselors are encouraged to visit Counseling and Psychological Services on the third floor of McCosh Health Center or call (609) 258-3285 to reach a counselor. After hours and on weekends, a counselor is available on call to respond to urgent needs and can be reached by calling (609) 258-3139.  Students and other members of the University community may also contact the deans in the Office of Religious Life.
