The prince waved to the crowd outside the house at 3901 Henry Avenue, but did not speak with reporters. However, Albert has reportedly purchased the four-thousand-square foot home. According to People Magazine, he is looking to possibly convert it into a museum and use part of the space for work on his foundation.

Grace Kelly's father built the home in the 1920s and evidence of her childhood still remains, as a door has the markings of the height of the Kelly children throughout the years.

Grace left that home to become an actress and later married Prince Rainier III in 1956. She died in 1982.

Albert has been quoted as saying, "The house was very beautiful and very special to our family."
