President Obama: Joe Biden Told Me To 'Get On The Wentz Wagon'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Everyone is talking about Carson Wentz these days. Even, the President of the United States.

President Barack Obama was in Philadelphia on Tuesday during a campaign rally for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and, as he often likes to do, he snuck in some sports talk.

"Some of you may have seen Joe Biden at the Eagles game," President Obama said. "He told me, 'Barack, you gotta get on the Wentz Wagon. We got a new quarterback. We got hope in Philly.'"

"I am a Bears fan," the President continued. "We play Philly next Monday night. So I got to stick with my team but I am going to scout out what all the fuss is about."

Of course, Philadelphians hit the President with some boo birds for that.

The 0-1 Bears are three-point favorites on Monday night at home against the 1-0 Birds.
