President Obama Mispronounces Ryan Arcidiacono's Name During White House Visit

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS) -- "And then there is Ryan Arcidiacono," said President Barack Obama as the Villanova Wildcats visited the White House on Tuesday, celebrating their National Championship victory.

However, President Obama did not quite pronounce it the way it sounds. He said it something more like Archie-Dee-Ah-Cah-No.

In his defense, President Obama did not have the same amount of practice pronouncing the Nova point guards name as hoops fans in this area. We've been learning a great deal about the Villanova point guard since his high school days at Neshaminy High School.

President Obama took the time to acknowledge the level of difficulty in Arcidiacono's name. "Now, I just sped through that in case I didn't say it right," the president admitted. "Barack Obama's tough but Arcidiacono...that's a lot of vowels in there, so we're just going to call him Arch."

After the funny moment, President Obama commended Arcidiacono for his four years as a captain and for wearing the jersey in more games than any other Villanova player.
