President Obama Getting Up Close Look At Camden County Police Department

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - Camden County Police, on Twitter, confirmed that President Obama will be in Camden Monday to "visit our community and officers."

Camden's police efforts since the county took over operations have been touted as a national model for addressing community concerns.

Mayor Dana Redd says as much in a press release announcing the Presidential visit, indicating she looks "forward to sharing what Camden has done and how we can support his public safety agenda."

Plans are to have the President arriving just after lunch and departing in the late afternoon.

Be warned -- as with any Presidential visit -- traffic will be affected.
