PPA Announces 'Relaxed Kiosk Parking Enforcement' For Sunday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia Parking Authority has announced there will be relaxed enforcement on kiosk parking spaces in the city for this Sunday only.

The PPA says this is due to a technical problem having to do with credit card payments at the kiosks.

PPA Executive Director Vince Fenerty says all safety violations and single space meters will continue to be enforced Sunday as they work to correct the problem.

The PPA says anybody who received an unwarrented ticket over the weekend due to the malfunction should bring it to the attention of their customer service department. They did not say the how many vehicles were incorrectly ticketed.
