Powerball Jackpot Soars To $300 Million
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There are about 300 million ways to end the year right as the Powerball soars to one of its biggest jackpots in 2015.
Powerball fever is sweeping the country in anticipation of tonight's big drawing.
At $300 million, this is the third largest jackpot of the year.
That equals a cash payment of more than $184 million.
The last big Powerball was in September- with a Michigan woman winning more than $310 million.
