Delaware Police Locate Suspect, All Evacuated Residents Permitted Back Into Homes
FELTON, Del. (CBS) – Delaware Police have taken a 43-year-old man into custody after he was found in an open field east of the resident police were investigating.
The earlier possible barricaded subject was found this afternoon when a retired state trooper observed him walking through a field just east of the residence.
The suspect, Patrick Billings, attempted to flee but was taken into custody without further incident.
He will be charged with violation of a family court order.
All residents have been permitted to their homes and Sportsman Road has re-opened.
