The intersection was shut down for several hours while authorities investigated. It has since reopened.
#BREAKING Street Rd is CLOSED at Knights Rd in #Bensalem. It's an accident investigation leaving a car wedged under a truck. In 2014, @TIME named this the most dangerous intersection in America! In 2014, Time Magazine named the intersection one of America's most dangerous due to poor signage, dim lighting and discontinuous sidewalks. In 2013, the Philadelphia Parking Authority installed a series of red light cameras in the area, and according to their records, the number of violations at Knights and Street Roads has grown every year, up until last year.
