Pa. Turnpike Westbound From Valley Forge To Downingtown Reopen Following Earlier Accidents

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. (CBS) -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike westbound between the Valley Forge and Downington Interchanges has reopened after being closed for several hours Thursday afternoon.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission says three accidents between mileposts 314 and 315 westbound forced all traffic to be detoured off the road at the Valley Forge Interchange (exit 326.)

Officials traffic was able to re-enter at the Downington Interchange (exit 312.)

Authorities say two tractor trailers and several other vehicles were involved in the crashes and no one was seriously injured.
