Pope Francis Becomes An Honorary Globetrotter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Pope Francis met with players from the Harlem Globetrotters on Wednesday and is now an honorary Globetrotter himself. The Globetrotters were on hand for Pope Francis' during his weekly general audience in St. Peter's Square.

The Globetrotters presented the Pope with a No. 90 jersey that read "Pope Francis," on the back. The Pope also had the chance to take part in some tricks with the members of the team.

The team is currently promotion their 90th Anniversary tour which debuts this upcoming fall. Pope Francis becomes the ninth person in team history to be named an honorary Globetrotter. Wednesday's visit was the eighth time that the Globetrotters have had an audience with the Pope.
