Poll Suggests People Prefer Phillie Phanatic Over Donald Trump For President

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillie Phanatic as the next President of the United States?

A new poll says that some Pennsylvanians would prefer the Phillies' iconic mascot be president over Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

The poll was conducted by Public Policy Polling and asked people, between Trump and the Phanatic, who would they rather see lead the country.

The Phanatic edged out Trump 46 percent to 40 percent.
