Police Investigate Triple Stabbing In Levittown

LEVITTOWN, Pa., (CBS) – Authorities say a mother and her daughter were stabbed multiple times during an apparent domestic-related attack Friday night in Levittown, Bucks County.

It happened around 8:15 p.m. at the Pennsbury Woods Apartments in the 9100 block of New Falls Road.

Police say the two unidentified women were stabbed repeatedly by a man who was living with them.

One of the women was stabbed 18 times in her head, neck and face. The second woman also suffered multiple stab wounds to her neck.

Police say the suspect then turned the weapon on himself, stabbing himself in the chest and stomach.

Both women were taken to Helene Fuld Trauma Center in Trenton. Authorities say they are expected to survive their injuries.

The man was taken to St. Mary's Trauma Center in Langhorne. He is also expected to survive and will be transferred to police custody upon his discharge.

The incident remains under investigation.
