Police say the two suspects pointed a handgun at the 27-year-old victim as she was returning home and forced her inside.

One of the suspects kept the victim and her children in the living room at gunpoint, while the second suspect ransacked the home, police said.

"You can imagine the trauma specifically for the kids to have that happen and the fear that goes along with that," said Capt. Sekou Kinebrew with the Philadelphia Police Department.

The suspects got away with a Smith & Wesson handgun, $600 in cash, and an orange book bag.

"It's a Smith and Wesson but that's also troubling to us because we have the two guns used to commit the crime and now third gun out in circulation that will undoubtedly remain in the hands of the criminal elements," said Kinebrew.

No one was injured in the incident.

If you have any information on these suspects, call police at 215-686-TIPS.
