Police: Woman Charged After Allegedly Chasing 10-Year-Old With A Knife

WARMINSTER, Pa. (CBS) – Police have arrested a 33-year-old Bucks County woman after she allegedly chased a 10-year-old around with a knife.

On Jan. 15, the Warminster Police Department received a report of a potential assault on a child through McDonald Elementary School.

An investigation revealed Virginia Bushman, of Grape Street in Warminster, had reportedly chased the 10-year-old while armed with a knife.

The alleged incident was reported to have taken place at a private residence in Warminster, according to police.

Bushman was charged with Terroristic Threats, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Simple Assault and Possession of an Instrument of Crime and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500,000 bail.
