Police Asking For Public's Assistance In Identifying Man, Woman In Possible Child Abuse Video

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public's help understanding a troubling video that's been circulating online. It appears to show possible child abuse at a playground, but officials want to talk to the man and woman in it to be sure.
Disturbing cellphone video that shows a woman kicking and screaming at a young boy is now at the center of a Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit investigation.
"It could possibly be evidence of child abuse," said Philadelphia Police Capt. Sekou Kinebrew.

Authorities believe the incident happened Tuesday at a playground at Frankford and Torresdale Avenues in Northeast Philadelphia.
"Hitting a child is ridiculous," said Phil Jackson, who often visits the playground with his three daughters. "It was very hard to watch that because I can imagine my three kids. That wouldn't go down with me."
Now, investigators want your help identifying both the woman and a man seen in the video.

"We don't know what happened after the video. We don't know what's going on in the home," said Kinebrew.
