Police: Verizon Worker Hurt When Home Invasion Suspects Crash Into Van

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --Authorities say a Verizon worker is hurt after three suspects crashed into his work truck in West Philadelphia.

The suspects' vehicle collided with the Verizon van at 63rd and Haverford Avenue Monday afternoon.

Police say they were wanted for a home invasion about a mile away on the 5900 block of Spring Street.

One of those suspects was caught at the crash scene.

Police say two others ran away.

The Verizon driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
