Police: Up To $30K Stolen During Armed Robbery At Northeast Philly Target

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a significant amount of money was taken from a Target store in Northeast Philadelphia during an armed robbery Saturday night.

This happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Target located at 11000 Roosevelt Boulevard.

Police are searching for three suspects they say stole the cash -- totaling as much as $50,000 -- out of at least five registers at the store.

The suspects are described as black males who wear all wearing dark-colored hoodies and clothes. The hoods were pulled up over their heads and they were also wearing fake beards.One male had a small handgun.

The suspects escaped the scene in a vehicle. There is no description of that vehicle at this time.
