Police: Suspect Stole Thousands In SEPTA Passes From North Philadelphia School

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for the suspect who stole thousands in SEPTA TransPasses from a safe at a North Philadelphia school.

On Aug. 29th around 10:19 p.m., an unknown male can be seen on surveillance footage breaking into the Master Charter School located at 1201 West Rush Street.

Once inside, the suspect took a black safe containing 100 SEPTA passes valued at $9,200.

Police say the suspect is a black male who was wearing white gloves, a white Phillies cap, a black shirt, camouflage shorts and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
