Police Announce Charges Against South Philadelphia Sex Assault Suspect

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The suspect wanted for a home invasion and sexual assault in the city's Point Breeze neighborhood was arrested last week and is facing a slew of charges, police announced Monday.

On June 4th, Raheem Felder was arrested after police received an anonymous tip.

Felder was wanted for the incident, which happened Monday, May 25th on the 1800 block of South Rosewood Street.

Police say the victim, a 35-year-old woman, woke up to find a man standing above her. That man then put his hand over her mouth and demanded money while sexually assaulting her.

Police say 32-year-old Felder is from the 1300 block of Chadwick Street. He's now facing charges of assault, rape, sexual assault, burglary, robbery, unlawful restraint, indecent exposure, simple assault, REAP (recklessly endangering another person), and false imprisonment.
