Police: Suspect Broke Into Holmesburg Home, Stole Victim's Car

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for a man responsible for a burglary in the Holmesburg section of the city.

On March 4, around 8:45 p.m. a man was captured on surveillance video breaking a second floor bedroom window in order to gain access to a residence on the 7200 block of Torresdale Avenue.

Once inside the home, he took the victim's car keys and fled taking their car, a 2002 silver Toyota Highlander with Pa. tag ELL-9095.

The suspect was last seen going north on Torresdale Avenue.

He is described as a black male, 20-25-years-old, with a beard. He was wearing gray hooded sweatshirt, a knit hat, a dark colored jacket with a patch or logo on the left side, blue jeans and dark gloves.
